construction
The Rory Hat is worked in the round and the seam is invisible. As opposed to flat rows, working in the round gives a 3D effect to your crochet project and is the ideal way to make a hat.
To make your hat, begin by working the crown (this will be the top of your head), then you will work on the body until you have the right length, and when the body is completed you will worked the ribbed band straight onto the hat. The effect is a snug hat that comes together quickly without any visible seams.
